Alert writetodisk: denied access to uTorrent means that you are trying to save files to a directory with limited access rights. The torrent client simply does not have permission to save data to the specified location. Consider several methods to solve this problem.
Method number 1:
Close the torrent client, and then click on its shortcut with the right mouse button, select “Properties”. A window with a variety of parameters will open before you, find the Compatibility tab and open it. Find the “Run program as administrator” command and check the box next to it. In the image below you will see how the window should look and where this parameter is located. Confirm your action by clicking on the “Apply” button. The access denial error must be resolved. If there is no program shortcut on the desktop, look for the utorrent.exe file on drive C in the “Program files” folder.
Method number 2:
Change the directory save torrents. If a writetodisk error is denied access, try simply changing the download folder. In the root of the disk (preferably not the one on which the OS is installed) create a directory and invent a name in Latin. Go to the program settings, select “Folders” and change the location of the downloaded files. If at the time of the change in the torrent there are started downloads, select them, right-click and change the folder through the properties.
The above methods will help solve the problem of writetodisk 100%, and uTorrent will start working as before!
